This is the 760k, 4GB of RAM and 7770 on Counter Strike GO. It gives more performance than I thought it would. You should be fine recording CS gameplay with this system.
This is a very up-to-date video too. Only 2 weeks old. So hopefully that gives you plenty of confidence in this configuration.
Thank you, and thanks for the video as well, I couldn't find one myself. 150 fps without recording, even if that halves while recordingI'm still good to go :D
Thanks a lot, you've been a massive help :D
Thanks for the video :) Haha the guy has the Athlon at 4.1 GHz while mine will only be at 3..Oh, I just Google'd and it's stock clocked @ 3.8 GHz, not bad. With turbo it reaches 4.1 GHz, not bad at all...
Say my budget was 320 instead... What would we change?
:D
da pluhs oen here. (+1)
Most games are GPU intensive. CPUs usually handle physics and other smaller things. The FM2/FM2+ platform is great for budget gaming, especially with the cheap CPUs such as the Athlon X4 750K/760K and strong GPUs. Even some of the low end GPUs will outperform iGPUs and APUs.
So I put your build into a PcPartPicker for easier viewing: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2psF1
If you have $320, here's what I'd do:
Upgrade to 8GB of RAM.
Upgrade the GPU.
Something along the lines of: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2psGk
Change parts to similar parts as needed.
