looking to get a couple of new drives.
Anyone use Toshiba HDD’s? I’m looking at X300 vs N300 4tb for differences, any input appreciated 
I’m a fan of WD Red and HGST, but wanted to explore other avenues
No experience with them, for the price, might aswell give them a shot.

The N300 has a longer warranty, is a “NAS hard drive”, the marketing on Toshiba’s website states it has “Rotational Vibration (RV) Sensors”, and has a rated workload (180 TB/year). Aside from that they seem to be pretty much the same.
If they’re similarly priced I’d go for the N300 I guess, at least just for a longer warranty.
