Hi,
A shorter while ago I bought a pc and used a tiny 64gb ssd that was just lying around. At first I thought that 64gb might be sufficient, but it is not.
Now I was thinking about getting an SSHD but was not sure how they actually work. Is the managing of the ssd part done completely within the harddrive or is it some software running on the os that manages it? Basically I want to ask if there might be problems with using an sshd drive with linux.
Also I do not want to set up my whole system again, is there a possibility of mirroring everything that is on my 64 gb ssd to my new sshd?
Another question: is 20 euro worth the difference between a seagate hdd and an sshd drive?
thanks for reading and kind regards,
oldman
