When and what are going to be the next lines of amd and nvidia gpus? Thanks
The next release will probably be with a new titan card in march sometime, most likely dual titan X GPU.
Q3 2016 for nVidia's Pascal, possibly Q2 for AMD's Arctic Islands. 16nm FinFET appears to have won the day for both designs, but there are tight lips all around. HBM2 is a gaurantee, and possibly the introduction of GDDR5X.
knowing Nvidia they are going to drop the (well if they are smart they'll drop a dual 980ti or 980 GPU) as soon as AMD drops the FuryX2.
Cause clearly no one cared for the Titan-Z.
Even if they make a dual 980ti, knowing Nvidia, it will cost 3 times the amount of the single 980ti.
the 700 series was the only exception when it came to an insane price for a dual GPU.
if the dual GPU is above $1500, they will be shooting themselves in the foot. especially considering that CrossfireX scaling destroys Nvidia scaling most if not all of the time.
With the constant drops in power requirement how many generations before the gtx x60 and radeon x80 no longer need external power? another welcome sight would be intels iGPUs geting to the point that everything before the x60 obsolete.
