I have a reliable 650 watt psu. I am currently using an Nvidia Geforce gtx 750. My motherboard model: MSQ-P8H61-MPRODP(B)
I just want a killer graphics card better then my current one. I want one a lot better actually. Maybe around $200?

If you want to go balls deep,you can always find a used R9 290 somewhere either on Ebay or Amazon for $200. But , I imagine not alot of people would want to do that. So here is an R9 280 on sale. $229- a $20 promo code and $20 M.I.R. aaaand 3 AMD gold tier games.

AMD offers a better to performance ratio at this price point.
For $199 MSRP you can get the 270X. For $249 MSRP you can get the 280.
It probably depends on what games you are going to be playing and how much detail you need. I don't need much detail, I just play Minecraft mostly... along with Payday2, TF2, LFD2, Hitman Series & GTA series. I'll be buying Thief & BF4 soon too. The card I bought was the R7-260X because it came with $80 free game coupon... plus it has TrueAudio/Mantle enabled. The only other cards with those high end features is the R9-290 & 290X's which cost more than triple the 260X price. I actually run the 260X in Crossfire which allows all the games I play at 1080p to be completely smooth. So it pretty much depends on how many details you need, and what price you want to pay for the shadows etc...
