NEW GPU choice

I'm building a new system with some money I'm getting (NOT TELLING). I'm going to use an i7 860 CPU, so which video cards should i use?

9800 GTX 3 Way SLI
4890 Crossfire
or HD 5870

GTX 285

HD 5870

5870, or 285 from EVGA, then step up to GTX 360.

GTX 295 quad crossfire

5870
or
gtx295
and then step up to 300 series

I wouldn't get a GTX 295 now that the 5870 is out. IT's like, 2-3 FPS behind the GTX 295

5870 if you can get any of those

If you don't want the GTX 295, then you only got 2 options, 5870 or GF100.

5870, multi GPU setups are generally a waste of money. 5870 has Eyefinity and only recs a single card, Nvidia will rec two. 5870 has DX11, recs less power ect ect blah blah blah, I think you get the point. Only idiots buy DX10 cards atm because they think they won't want/need it anytime soon.

im running 2 4890's in crossfire.... they kick some serious ass, 400-450 fps in gmod (although i prefer v-sinc on)...

i would sugest the 5870 tough..... it looks amazing, it runs like a beast..... and it can handle anything you throw at it.

9800GTX+'s in TRI SLI

Suggesting he spend 400 dollars on outdated hardware.

I love nvidia but as of this moment you'd be better off buying from ATI.

lol

5870 2GB eyefinity edition lol

As opposed to $300 outdated hardware?

gtfo troll

What's 300 dollars? The 5870 is more than that, and is by no means outdated.
