I was down Tottenham Court Road yesterday and I noticed one of these going for £25 less than the amazon price
For those that arent familiar with Tottenham Court Road it's one of those very rare places where shop prices can actually beat online prices, there are tons of computer shops all down the same road and it is not uncommon for buyers to go from shop to shop and haggle for better price.
It was a rather nice series of events as I was seconds away from pushing the 'buy now' button on amazon, at that time I managed to stop myself.. but then I see it for £25 quid less in a shop with the cash in my pocket and i knew it was the universe sending me a signal. :)
giving the old xfx 7850's I had to my brother, i am sure he will be chuffed
on my way home to install it now
will probably buy another 7970 in 4 to 5 months time for crossfire.
