As many people have seen on some distributors/resellers Web sites, there are two new EdgeSwitch models shipping soon:EdgeSwitch 16-port XG (ES-16-XG): 10G switch with 12 SFP+ ports and 4 RJ45 10GBASE-T portsEdgeSwitch 8-port 150W (ES-8-150W): 8 RJ45 1G ports with PoE output support and 2 SFP ports

To clarify (since there is some inaccurate information), here are the main specs for these two models.

EdgeSwitch 16-port XG (ES-16-XG)
12 SFP+ ports and 4 RJ45 10GBASE-T ports (total of 16 10G ports). No PoE output support on the RJ45 ports.1U rackmount with removable mounting ears (enclosure is pretty much identical to the ES-12F)Same features as existing EdgeSwitch models (extensive L2 features and basic L3 features)Full line-rate performance for all ports simultaneously (i.e., 160

Cool. I've used their EdgeMax routers and EdgeSwitches with no issues. I've had my eye on these new Unifi ones to replace my Meraki 8-port switch in my homelab when it expires.

I just hope their 10gig shit become cheaper really want like a $500 ish option but with that many ports will probably be closer to the $1000 range.

Looking like $600 actual, I was with you thinking about the 1 grand range.

I am just sad, that the edge router can not be integrated into unifi, not even like sending telemetry to the controller =/

Seems like $600 is the going price gonna wait for a sale probably.
