Hey guys, im going to buy a new case but i dont know which case to pick i have seen define r5, h440, obsidian 450d (aiming for a matte black build with a be quiet air cooler) but then i started to think, do i really need all those expansion slots? maybe i should go for matx, what do u guys think?
From what i have heard that case is not very good, i wanted something silent with a big window (i know a window will not isolate as good as a plain panel)
i think its pretty good, but it may not be very silent. it does have a clear side panel though
GO for one of those. I've got one and it's absolutely amazing. Perfect mATX case.
The S340 or Enthoo Pro.
I think i prefer the corsair 350d, aesthetically speaking ofc
Yeah im reaching a final opinion, its between H440, Define R5 and Enthoo pro
H440 for them looks, R5 for sexy and silent computing, and the Enthoo Pro for an overall beast of a rig. You can't go wrong with any of them. I love the H440 most, but it doesn't have 5.25 inch bays :(
Of those i think i will go with R5 but one more question, i looked up and saw someone mentioning the phanteks enthoo evolv case and im wondering, do i really need ATX? i have no space problems to accommodate a atx rig, but on the other hand at this moment im not thinking of SLI or anything, i just want to have a beast of a rig that can handle that sexy be quiet dark rock 3 and that doenst make much noise, if im not asking too much what do you tihink?
The Evolv looks great, but the dimensions appear to nearly match that of the R5. I recommend ATX over mATX due to the fact that if you ever decided you needed another GPU or a better sound card, then you wouldn't really have the flexibility of being able to run two GPUs that consume 4 slots in total and a sound card. You may with some boards, but not all... not to mention the heat created by having two cards touching one another. ATX gives you breathing room. If you want to go small, go ITX.
thanks, ill go with R5 :)
Budget?
arround 120$
There is an ATX version of the Evolv coming very soon.
