I am a relatively new builder and I was wondering if there are any compatibility issues with the PC I went with. This computer will be mostly used for gaming and basic web search. I would like the ability to upgrade if i ever need to and this is what i came up with. I picked the 4g model graphics card for triple display. Iv'e read the reviews on everything I picked and like what i picked ( my mind can be changed though). I would like to be able to buy any game and not have to worry if my computer can handle it. If i am skimping on anything please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated!
The 770 should handle almost any game at high/ultra settings at 1080p.
The CPU will also be great for gaming and you could also squeeze a bit more speed out of it if you want to overclock.
Speaking of overclocking, that Hyper 212 Evo will keep the CPU pretty cool even with a bit of an overclock.
The power supply is a good 80 plus bronze certified unit from a respectable manufacturer.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the case. I don't have any experience with that brand, but if it has good airflow and cable management, you should be fine.
You could probably save a bit of money on the memory, but it looks like you may be going for a red/black theme, so I can understand why you chose that RAM.
Cool! Thank you very much. I am not dead set on that case but had to skimp somewhere along the build so i'lll keep shopping around. Any series of case you would recommend that would possiably fit my theme?
Well from the reviews, the case i picked is pretty good with cooling, My only worry is that the side fan will get in the way of my video card. Is there anyway to check the dimensions of that to make sure it fits? Initially i was going to go with a cheaper card but i wanted the ability to run sli in the future if i have the extra cash. Plus I dont plan on over clocking but would like the option if i ever get comfortable enough with it. I've heard a data is a good brand but for 20 bucks to get a matching set it seems worth it. Im shallow like that lol.
so i would probably upgrade the hard drive to a black edition. the caviar blue is fine for the mostpart but the black edition will help alot with speeds
well the motherboard is black and red so i think it does't look bad, don't know if the red ram is the same red as your motherboard. but 20$ for the matching color is worth it:)
