Hello,

i wanna build an new PC! My Intel Corei7 2600k should go in my HTPC. So i wanna build a new one.

What I have and will use in the new build ist my GTX770 because it will not fit into my Fractal Design Node 304.

OK Parts for my new Build:

Intel Corei7 4930K or AMD 9590

Mainboard Asrock X79 Extreme 9 or Asrock 990FX Extreme 9

Ram 32 gigs of Geil EVO Legera

PSU: Corsair CM600 600Watts (but i don't know if it is enough?)

Case: Fractal Design Define R4

Cooler for CPU: Noctua NH-D14 or Thermalright Silverarrow

So i wanna do Gaming, Video- and Photoediting. Less money is better, i mean the Corei7 is very expensive with 480€. Its a question of future proof. 

So i am open for suggestions. ;-)

Which GTX 770 do you have?  It fits cards up to 310mm long; my HD 7950 fits in there just fine.

You could go with an i7-4770k.  The 4930k is strong, but pricy.

16 gigabytes should be fine.  32GB might be overkill.

600 watts is fine for this build.

HD-D14 for the cooler.

Hey you have helped me good last time. The problem is not the length but the sickness. My inno3d gtx770 heculez needs 3 slots. The htpc gets my old sapphire hd7950. Its kind of a console replacement ;-). When haswell then the xeon e1230v3 its 100euro less have the same features and i don't need overclocking or the igpu! I think 32 gigs of ram are future proof. And i already own 8gigs for the htpc and 2x8gig evo legera for the new.
