What a strange monitor, did you already have it? Is it the 75Hz or 144hz version?

Nope I bought it because it was on sale. I think it's 60Hz. We'll im having some issues with it when in windows the text and icons are not as sharp as I'd hope for. From what I've read so far is due to the DPI scaling of windows 10. I will try to swap out the HDMI cable with a DVI see if there is a difference.

It's not sharp because it's a 24" 1080p display, probably has around 80ppi, it's meant to be used a bit farther back

90ppi, not too bad I guess, a 22" is right around 100ppi

How much did you pay?

About $160

Well, I'd suggest an IPS display anyways then, the color is way better, and you can see it off angle perfectly, why'd you get that display anyways? It's fairly overpriced

1080p IPS $99

Yeah I've considered that monitor but I guess I was swayed by the gaming aesthetics and the build quality, most of the monitors under $100 is kinda flimsy. And to be fair it does a fantastic job when gaming less the color accuracy and angles of an IPS panel.

But it's not like a 144hz display where TN makes a lot of sense, the 4ms added response time really isn't going to matter, and I've dropped a $100 AOC display 6 feet onto concrete with no issues, I lost my picture of the panel falling out of the frame from it though

Yes disable dpi scaling in windows10, its completly broken.
