New build? Opinions?

Any suggestions for a $500 A-10 build there is a good combo on newegg right now for $474

Combo: 1094429

i think this one is pretty good when the ssd is back in stock.

Any other suggestions would be nice!

Also, if you do not suggest an A-10 please tell me what i should get. I think an A-10 would be good because i want to do some entry level gaming and i can upgrade to a better graphics card in the future.

This is also an option im going through the combos right now.

Ausmy, for the $500 you can build quite a healthy gaming system, far better then the system you linked. Depending on what your requirements are, you can squeeze probably a HD7850 with a 965BE for $500 or less. Are you interested in building a system yourself?

Yeah i've been looking around i was looking at the APU's because they seem like a good bang for the buck right now i'm looking at random parts on newegg but any suggestions would help :)

Some parts that i have chosen for my build, still going with the A-10 but i can crossfire with a 6670 for a speed boost. Should i skip the crossfire and find a cheap boot ssd?

MotherBoard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146078 (free 8gb ram)

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231488 (free with motherboard ^)

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113280

Crossfire Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127666

All that for $478 i'd like to stay between $475-450 actually now instead of $500 so i think this good. Should i switch the GC for an SSD?

I am sorry about the wall of text, but the parts are decent. You can add a bigger card like a 7850 and probably a cheap case. Or just get the case you want and use this system with it. The 7770 is far superior in gaming then any on-cpu GPU.

The Crossfire with the HD6670 only gives HD6670 performance in games, it really is not worth it. A discrete GPU will give you more bang for your buck and more performance as well.

Thanks for the build suggestion that looks nice! I can grab a good case and maybe 8gb of ram and that would be perfect any thoughts on the A-10 with eventually upgrading to like a 7770 or 7850? is it a decent cpu at 3.8ghz 4.2ghz turbo?

I like your build, but you posted the link for your case to your motherboard and case, where's the motherboard?

sorry about that ;) Also skip out on the Graphics Card and get a better one, i was told that crossfiring with that card is not very good!

Thanks! Any ideas on the graphics card and also, would I be able to get a second ram card (The motherboard + another) and have 16gb or is 8 like the cap?

Okay i think i'm going to get my A-10 build up there and then eventually upgrade it and add this card

Sound like a good idea i believe the A-10 is pretty good but if you think i should get the phenom for performance i will. Also i could squeeze in an aftermarket cooler or fans for my case if i wanted :)

The A10 will do fine if that is what you want,  sounds like you have a solid plan already figured out!

Thanks for the help john i'm going to price around for a bit, if I find anything good i'll post back here with my ideas :)

I think this would be a good temporary build until i could buy 7770 or better graphics card. After some research I've found that the Phenom ii is going to outperform the APU because it is x86 cores. If you have any suggestions still please let me know but i think this is best for me. Also i will throw in the cheapest DVD burner i can find, although i may have one laying around the house. :)
