No, the FX-6100 is a Bulldozer CPU, and it's a piece of garbage. The FX-6300 is much better.

so now I'm at a crossroads on this build. I found an i5 for 149.99 and the fx8350 is 179.99 here is a link of my revised build. Should I go with the i5 or the FX?
