First time builder here and I would like some feedback.

Is there anything I can go cheaper/ better on? I am specifically looking at the Power Supply on this one. 

I also need a case. Looking at $50 - $80.

You really don't want a bulldozer CPU there are much better options either get the pile driver at that price point or honestly you best bet would be a 2500k.

PSU is major overkill you need maybe 600w and Fatal1ty branding tends to be an artificial price bump.

Also I would really try to find 1600Mhz memory.

Also if you do some digging you can find a mobo with built in wifi so you don't have to waste a PCIe slot and inhibit airflow.

Would you consider there to be a big difference between the 2500k and the 2500 or the 2500k and the 2400?

2500k and 2500 the only difference is overclockability if you aren't going to overclock or don't want much then the 2500 will be cheaper 2400 is a lower clock speed.
