Ok this will be my first build and first time building it myself so I'm a bit confused.
Do you think the fans in my case are already set-up for optimal air cooling ?
I didn't buy any more fans, might add some later.

The two fans that are included with the R4 will keep decent airflow the way they are placed out of the box but it wouldn't hurt getting a few more.
The included fans on the case should do a fine job for you. Adding more fans probably won't help your temps honestly, if you do add more fans later I would look more at getting fans to lower the rigs noise level. For whatever reason people think if they put a 20 dollar 120mm fan on their side panel they will knock of 10 degrees but in reality it doesn't make a single digit difference let alone double.
would say do two intake in the front and 2 exhaust would be fine soo buy two fans
