just build a brand new pc all new parts today. Build went smooth and everything went well, booted up with boot beep first time. bios worked fine. When I went to put on win7 BSOD on set up, on install, and on desktop, and on start up and when all the drivers where on and up to date. it gets to different stages each time before the BSOD goes on. ram was tested and no faults where found, hardrive was tested and wipe 2x and no faults where found, bios reset to default and updated, all driver put on and it still carried on. please help me!!!!
first check all your cables and make sure all are connected correctly and seated all the way down.
1. Clear your CMOS either with BIOS or clear button on mobo if it has one
2. open cmd (if you can boot )and type in sfc /scannow and hit enter
3. Admit defeat and come to the master race - LINUX - its nice over here!
Sounds like you might have some bad ram. Run Memtest
how hot is the cpu after the bsod?
I would check voltages and see if the ram is undervolted and same with the CPU. If not then maybe increase the voltage of either by the smallest increment and see if that makes any difference. Try booting in safe mode and see if the system crashes, as their might be a software clash or something like that.
Best of luck
