was thinking that the power supply should maybe be a bit bigger.

also, is the stock cooler on the AMD decent or is it worth getting a better cooler?

first post. hoping for some decent feedback.  cheers!

It looks like you've done your homework and picked budget friendly parts. A stock cooler should be fine if you don't plan on over clocking.

I would recommend swapping the EVGA PSU for either a Seasonic or Corsair or XFX ... they are more reliable IMO

And it should be at least 80+ bronze or better not just 80+

6350's tend to run warm. even if you do not OC I would recommend a better cooler ... it will make system last longer IMO

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler is inexpensive and cools very well (cheap insurance) only £24.67

6350 over FX6300 is not worth it.

If you can get a FX8320 for allmost the same price as the FX6350.

Gigabyte GA-970A-Ud3p is capable to handle FX83xx cpu´s. But im personaly not realy a big fan of Gigabyte am3+ boards, but thats personal.

Also the 270X 4GB isn´t worth it either over a 2GB version, the 270x isnt powerfull enough to utilize that amount of vram. If you come into graphical situations that you need 3GB+ vram, then the gpu it self will become a limited factor anyways. 3/4GB vram is only a thing for highend gpu´s. like 780 / 780Ti 290 / 290x / 970 / 980 and such.

+1 to everything here. I too don't like Gigabyte but thats just me.

Also look into the 270 it is just a lower clocked 270X. You can usually OC them to the same speeds or higher. Much cheaper too.

I'm not sure about in Europe, but I know in the States that the prices on the AMD cards are tumbling. You may even be able to get an R9 280 or 285 for the same price or a little more.

you may consider this ... it is a few pounds more but much better quality components and much faster GPU and a good CPU cooler

+1 here as well.
