New Budget build

Hi i need to know if this setup wil get the job done for some gaming not like al ultra, like medium/high then i would already be happy.

Cpu:  AMD athlon II x4 750k

Ram: 4gb 1600 crucial original bulk

Gpu: powercolor  r7 260x 1gb gddr5

if u need to know some more of the rig just ask plz

Thanks in advance.

What is your budget ? maybe i can do better ...

i'm sure it would be able to run many games on medium and some on high, but I would recommend getting a gpu with 2 or 3 gb of vram. Not trying to run up your budget or anything but games like BF4, and Bioshock Infinite use can use more than 1.5GB of vram. I would look at something like the GTX 650ti 2gb boost, or the 750ti

But like I said it will proabley be able to run may games on medium and high.

400 euro's

For 1080p gaming something like this would suit your needs http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3AB58

Only has 4GB or RAM for budget purposes but its a 1 stick kit so you can easily add another when your funds allow.

Just converted that to euros and realised its 44 euros over budget. If you swap to something like a 260x then it should bring it on budget, although will have a lesser gaming experience

You should tell us what resolution you'll be playing at and what types of games you'll be playing.

Some important things to note are that you should definitely get a radeon graphics card as they are best for lower end (my opinion but it's also quite factual) performance as you can use mantle which in some games will allow your games to run more like a more expensive card. So maybe maybe a r7 265 as that is quite a bit better than the 1GB 128bit 260x this one is 2GB and has a 256Bit bus and depending on where you get it from it may be not to much more expensive, and you will need the extra Memory for med/high settings.

And i think the athlon will be a great choice even though it's quite old.

Also with having only 4GB of ram you will have to have no other programs open or any web browsers open or anything like that while you play your games, as most games will use 2-3GB Minimum unless they are quite old.

21.5inch so resolition is 1920/1080

later on il add another stick of 4gb of ram

I've made a little list:

-ASUS HD7770 2 GB version

-CX430

-Fractal Design core 1000

-Crucial ballistix sport 8GB

-WD blue 1TB

-MSI FM2-A75MA-E35   (but there are other options)

-x4 750k

This will run any game quite well. You could go with a 4GB RAM kit and get a better graphics card, but then games like BF4 will begin to stutter.

Try to have a bit more money and get this : http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3AGrH

You realize that build is over 200 euros over budget @CristianoPT ?

yup i know but i cant help it to give him a better build ... wow well here we go http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3AJi6 400£ is about 486,5 EURO is pretty difficult with that budget making a 1080p gaming rig for 720p is possible but more than that is just pushing it .... so just save some money and get better parts ... PLEASE !

Gemblade, I think you should scale back your resolutions to maybe 900p or 720p. I don't think with the budget you have and the parts you have chosen can really push those pixels at 1080p. I don't mean to sound condescending but those are the kinds of resolutions that would suit these parts the best (the graphics card more precisely). But, I think you should maybe invest in the 2GB version of the 260X if you can afford it. It will help if you can get your hands on one. You've got a nice choice of parts but I do think you may need to wait a little while before you can get into 1080p @ medium/high settings with playable FPS. On the bright side, you can still play those modern games! :D

Anyway, I would upgrade you parts in this order:

RAM up to 8GB and then upgrade your graphics card. Just some insight about your build. While your parts may not be ready for 1080p, they will be...soon, very soon my friend! Patience and willing to save money will get you where you want to be!

Well, best of luck to you, GemBlade!

Sincerely, The New Guy

Oke . thank you :)
