New board for AMD fx 8350

I am starting on a new computer build focused on the FX 8350 cpu and now i need a motherboard...I am trying to keep the price of it as close to or below $130. One feature i'm focused on is a usb 3.0 internal header. The only board i have really noticed is the asus m5a97 r2. What are your guys' opinions and suggestions?

Thanks!

nregner  recomended a pretty good board. ive heard the bios is a little outdated but other than that ive heard good things about it.

i could recommend the Asus M5A99FX pro r2.0  6+2 powerphase and digi vrm, logan did use this board, in the video FX8350 oc to 5ghz vs i5 oc.  he did an overclock to 5ghz on this board, so eaven wenn it only has a 6+2 power phase, it still is a great overclocker.

If that board is abit above youre budget, then probably the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-ud3 like nregner posted, would probably fit into your budget, 8+2 powerphase. im personaly not a big fan of gigabyte amd boards, but yeah at the price point that board is, you cant aruing.

The board you asked infot about the Asus M5A97 R2.0 is a good board, it has a 4+2 power phase and digi vrm, you can put a FX8350 on it, but you would not have much room to do any overclocking on that board. cause it has less power phases, so the vrms getting hotter. wenn oc. also you cant go on crossfire or sli on this board. 970 boards are not made for that. i could realy recommend you to pickup a decent 990fx chipset board.

grtz Angel.
