New AMD PC build suggestions

Good Morning Techs,

I need suggestions on a PC parts. Ideally I’d like this to be a full AMD rig used for gaming and web development. About 2k is the max budget. Not to be unreasonable but if you can suggest parts primarily from Microcenter, that would be awesome!

I sincerely appreciate any advice or tips.

From Microcenter?

They recently had a deal on $550 for 7900X+32GB RAM + motherboard. Combine that with a decent 2 TB drive and a 7900 XT, add in a 850W gold PSU and any case you like the look of, and call it a day.

Roughly $1700 for that.

If there’s a 7800X3D bundle that would give some gains in gaming, but I agree.

I’d wait a couple of weeks till the reviews for new AMD GPUs come out (7800 XT and 7700 XT).

Also what resolution will you be playing on? Do you need competitive FPS?

Ok, some more info now that I have a little more time:

First off, the deal is still active, here:

Second, here is a PCPartPicker of appropriate parts that with this PC:

PCPartPicker Part List

Type Item Price
CPU AMD Ryzen 9 7900X $410.59
CPU Cooler Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE $34.90
Motherboard Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI $250.72
Memory G.Skill Flare X5 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 $194.99
Storage Corsair MP600 PRO LPX 4 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 $279.99
Video Card PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XT $799.99
Power Supply Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 - V2 $99.99
subtotal $2071.17
Microcenter Bundle -306.31
Total $1764.71

So that is $235 left for case + fans, Windows 11 and mouse + keyboard. Questions on that?

Oh, and almost forgot, the above is a sketch-up and not writ in stone. If Microcenter does not have that specific drive / GPU card / Power supply ask for something similar, there are probably more deals to have in the store itself. Be careful on the SSD, you want something with TLC and DRAM cache, otherwise everything is replacable.
