I'm really leaning towards the Bitfenix case however I'm worried about heat and everything fitting.

Thanks

What are you planning to do with it?

Gaming for sure. EOS, BF4, etc. Maybe some Dogecoin mining. Also I plan on upgrading to 2x 1440p monitors in the near future.

If your just gaming, I don't think 16GB of memory is necessary. Most games don't even take up 8GB

I gotta say, when you buy two kits of dual channel memory sure, it would equal quad channel memory. But if you buy two dual channel it wouldn't be the same as buying one quad channel set. Memory in sets are tested as sets and I really hate it when people buy sets that will work together.. but shouldn't work together.

I would recommend this setup

get whatever mouse and keyboard you want and throw in that ssd along with it... tell me your opinion on it

If your gonna be spending 2k on a build then go for a 780 or 780ti instead of Crossfire 280x. It will be more quiet, take up less space, and use less power, and you also have the option to add another one if for some insane reason a 780ti isn't powerful enough for you.

this also gives you the 2560x1440p monitor

I really like that. I'd probably be better off with the R9-290x anyway. However I really want to stick with the Bitfenix if I can. I'm kinda partial to the way it looks. Would I be able to get away with using it with the 290 or is that a pipe dream.

Thanks for the suggestion. Probably going to go with the 290x though I'm partial to Radeon graphics.

So you saying I should just go for the 32GB kit?

Thanks you're right, I'm going way overboard with the 32GB but I kinda want to future proof and I'm thinking of doing some Linux VM's for work.

Why do you say that...not a fanboy of any color in the rainbow I'm just wondering?

I've always used AMD/ATI graphics in all my builds never had a problem. Plus Radeons are better for Mining which is something I'm interested in.

Wait for haswell-E

16GBs should do you just fine. If you need to upgrade you can upgrade later.
