New 1440p gaminc pc

Hi I've been looking for a little now and would like advice on a new build for 1440p. I am upgrading from 3 a year old i3 540 gtx 560ti and 4gb of ram. This is what I am looking at so far. Oh also I have a psu an antec truepower new 650w and a 1tb samsung hdd.

Games I would play are skyrim, bioshock infinite, the witcher 2, far cry 3 and tomb raider (maybe) just list a few, from what I have read you can't really tell the difference with AA on in 1440p so I was considering an msi 280x twin frozr, I don't think I would notice it anyway because it is a big upgrade for me gaming wise. Also from what i have read it seems better to get a single gpu for gaming and I tend to agree with this which is why I put the 780 in there but I'm still tempted by the 280x from reviews and it's quite a bit cheaper.

I put the fractal define R4 in there because I would also like it quiet and from the videos I have watched it looks nice and seems to have good cable management (this would be my first full build) I did put my old pc together but I got the mobo, cpu and ram as a bundle overclocked.

All help appreciated.

Nice pc, the gtx 780 is much faster than the 280x. If you can, I would advise you to stretch your budget even more and get a 290x because that card is the price/performance winner at that performance level and it will definitely max out all those games at 1440p.

The thing is I don't really want a 290x with the standard cooler on it I know it's fussy plus I think the R9 290 is coming out very soon. I'm just so confused as what to do atm with all the price drops I mean I'm not exactly in a rush but I can't stop thinking about getting this pc lol.
