So price is a bit high, considering you can get the Ubiquity one for only a $150 more and you get 16( 4 Ethernet 12 SFP+)
Cheapest multi 10gbe product is still the Asus XG-u2008 with 8gbe 2-10gbe @ like $230 so that probably the go to if you only need 2 devices. Sadly I need 4 at a min, but I dont think the xs505m is quite the best deal, still might pick one up, but will probably wait for a small sale as I don’t need it just would make life a little easier.
Other options that seem good is Buffalo BS-XP20 8 port for $500 that is tempting as well.
Judging by Netgears older models power consumption savings is maybe 2W/port over the older 10gbe tech
