Network Racking

Hi,

 

Does anyone have and suggestions regarding network racking I am building a datacentre in my garage just for media, VM's and some cisco related stuff and general messing around I have two 24 port gigabit swtiches and two dell power edge 1U servers (redundant office equipment). I am just looking for a way to retro fit all this together in some form of frame not cabinet.

I was tempted to build something from timber (basically shelving) but I want something a little more fire proof ha.

T slot aluminum maybe?

Check your local Craig's list . I bet you can get a 4 post rack for $50 . They also make rack shelves. 

Thanks for the tips, craigs list is a little thin on the ground for IT equipment in my area (North wales, UK) I will have a look at the T slot Aluminium looks quite practical. Cheers
