Netflix on Linux Mint?

Can anyone with Mint help me out here? I am wanted to go back to Mint, but I need to know if Netflix works or not before I can do so. I've heard that it works on Ubuntu via Chrome now, and so I assume that it does, but I don't want to waste time installing it and whatnot if it doesn't. Can someone shed some light?

Google chrome can do this an any os afaik.

That is what I have been hearing, but I would like for someone to confirm this if possible.

I can fire up a vm and test it. will report back.

Didn't wendell cover it in a video, probably the virtual box one, he used ubunutu though naturally.

Eh, got a laptop running mint somewhere, i'll give it a go.

Would be much appreciated.

If Big Al has it already on a machine, and is willing to test it out for me, then you don't need to bother. Thanks though.

yup it is chrome you need, I don't know any other way ..

Just installed Mint 17.2 W/Cinnamon and added Chrome. Currently playing Shanghai Noon on Netflix.

Lol nice ty.

Thank you guys. You saved me a lot of trouble.

Fyi just so you know Netflix on chrome has nothing to do with Ubuntu. The components needed are in chrome its self. It'll work on any distro you like so long as you install Google chrome.

I was hoping as much. I really just wanted it verified before wasting time on it. Thanks to everyone.
