Net Neutrality Activists Forced Out Of FCC Meeting(Video)

Its bullshit. They get kicked out for saying that the internet is for the people. It is a public tool and should thus be classified that way. GO MERICA!!!

Gives me hope.

Fucking sickening.

Government censorship is happening now. Time to start a revolution. Our first amendment right is being taken away. Rise my children, that is what God would want if God existed. Am I right or is God all about censorship, dictatorship and lobbying?

They didn't get kicked out for saying the internet is for the people.  They got kicked out for creating a disturbance.  Regardless how you feel about what's going on (and it IS bullshit), this kind of activism isn't going to do a damn thing to help.

Well in that case, any form of activism isnt going to work. How else will the public understand? Creating a disturbance is the best way to gain ones attention. No one really cared about the civil rights movement, until they saw disturbing footage of activists being beaten, hosed down, and chased by dogs. No one cared until white people were being beaten. It isn't a disturbance at all. In a public held vote, meant for the people (by ISP lobbyist Tom Wheeler). How can the public know? I haven't seen a single piece of information in the news about the vote, until after it was voted on. Prior all I found was info from sites like this and youtube bloggers. No one knows, and that is how the government likes it. They prefer to keep any vote that would have public upcry left out of the public's view. In many cases it works. This is censorship, when a vote that affects the public directly leads to the few who are willing to speak out about the given situation and instead of hearing their opinion, they are immediately removed. This is censorship, not as blatant blacking out ones text or removing access to one's blog, but it still is. It is a vote for the people, and the people aren't even allowed to make their thoughts about the given issue known (during said event).

I am disgusted.

I disagree. I think the FCC have seriously misjudged public opinion and they got given a mouthful from these folks. Tom Wheeler looked shaken after they were thrown out, he lost his composure. We need to get the message across is a very strong manner. The people matter more than the corporate opinion of ISPs that is destroying net neutrality.

That snob sitting directly in front of the camera man is like these guys are whack. He was laughing at the people who were speaking. And then turned around and was laughing at the guy who was filming and exclaimed, "Don't man handle him". Anyways, that guy probably is for fast lanes and the unregulated internet.
