Nepton 280L practically new in box, $56. Good buy?

I was browsing eBay for parts for my upcoming rig refresh, and came across a "used" Nepton 280L. It looked practically new, guaranteed to work, and included all parts (and most of them were still bagged).

I know it's old as hell, but I've seen fantastic reviews of this cooler on FrostyTech putting its performance far above any other AIO from Corsair or NZXT, or any air cooler from Noctua.

So seeing it was the last of 3 remaining, I outright bought it for $56 shipped. I plan on using it in either an overclocked X99 or Z170 rig. But since I haven't finished my research I was wondering if that was a bad/okay/good/great deal?

If its got very little use I see that as an absolute score. The cooler master AIO's are in general pretty good and that 280mm radiator will dissipate a lot of heat.

Thanks! Either it was never actually run, or the owner went through the trouble of cleaning the fans and CPU block.

It looks damn near spotless, have fun with it!

I considered my Seidon 240M at ¥9800 to be a score. that's a sweet deal!
