Looking for a windows 7 or 8 disc to set up my new rig. My university used to have cheap OS, but they've become hipsters with big ass eye glasses and really pungent smelling shirts and giving them only to faculty members.
Is there a legit place where I can purchase one but not spend over a 100 bucks? I'm not partial to any, just want to get on steam as soon as possible.

Thats a 30 day win 7 trial, you can download any windows version and activate it later.
If you dont get a genuine code after 30 days windows will pester you to get one, not download updates and disable some stuff etc.. Maybe you can get a cheap code later on from your university, if your uni is part of the DreamSpark programm you can get some some free windows programm and os codes (Thats what my desktop is running on...and my brothers desktop....and my media pc....for research purposes of course).
The download contains an iso file, youll have to create a bootable disk image from that by burning a cd or setting up a bootable usb drive, just use img burn it pretty much sets itself up.

Hey, Ima get a lot of shit for this but windows 8.1 is what I recommend. It's snappier.
Or Windows 10 lol Gaming Does work on it despite it being a preview. the only issues I've seen with it is majorly in the Tablet Space. Like Some Apps don't launch in Portrait Mode, Little things like that.
I might be able to sell you a Windows 7 Professional key but I'll have to upload the iso to my Mega account and I'll have to send you the link and you'll have to burn it onto a disk yourself.
The iso can be legally and freely downloaded from the internet. You should only have to transfer the key, unless the image was modified.
I could do that if he downloads the iso somewhere else. It's just that the iso came with the product key.
