if you know of better for about the same amount of money let me know ($170 is the most I want to spend no more)

Let me know if know of better pair.Right know I have A10 5800k so yea xD

also just want to say that will a 500w corsair power supply be good for this build (omly have one hard drive)

$170 on a motherboard and a processor? I'm hesitant to recommend the 965 because it will bottleneck that card, but i don't want to say get a 6300 and a shit motherboard. I'd say sell your apu+mobo and add that to your budget.

The Phenom II X4 965, wont bottleneck that card. at the moment.

its an older quadcore cpu, but still a very great one.

till the time games optimized for 4 cores. it will just do fine. (as far as i know)

but ofc the phenom II x6 of the FX6300 would be a better option, but its just depending on youre budget..

if you plan to overclock then dont go with the asrock 970 board. cause it has only 4+1 power phase.

but if you not plan to do any overclocking then it will work just fine ☻

Notice if you plan to combinate a FX6300 with the Asrock 970, then you maybe need to flash the bios first to get it running!

500W psu 80+bronze wil also be enough at the moment, but doesnt give you much room, to upgrade. wenn its possible to get a 650W 80+ bronze its more recomded, but for the things you gonne do now the 500W will be enough.

Grtz Angel ☻

can't already sold the apu. What do you think would be good mobo to get for 965 want to overclock to 4.0.but has to around 70/60 bucks. But if could find good pair with 6300 for about 200/190 let me know.going to overclock to 4.1 the cpu

Look at Gigabyte, I have been using a $80ish mobo by them for almost 4 years with my phenom, and I could easily overclock. Overclocking shouldn't be too hard with them.

you will need a psu with more power with a overclock like that and a reasonable mobo

yes gigabyte GA-970A-ud3 is a great board for overclocking. it comes with a 8+2 power phase.

sorry for my late post, but its not that cheap for 60 bucks its arround 100 or so
