Need to cut on cost

This is what I have atm: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/IvG1

All I'm doing is playing Skyrim on ultra settings, is there anything that will help cut cost but not lose alot of performance? I geuss I don't HAVE to play on ultra, and I'm not stuck on an ASUS monitor.

I all ready have the power supply, I got it for only $70 on newegg. Also have the optical drive, mouse and keyboard.

You could save a few bucks by buying a CX750 power supply. the only other way I could see you cutting cost on that build would be to switch to a FX 8350 and a 7870.

Different PSU at a lower wattage. You don't need 750w for this build unless you plan on slapping another GPU in there. 500w would be perfectly sufficient. Also, go with a SeaSonic, Corsair or XFX.

Also, backing up what anarmypig said about switching to an AMD CPU. You can get an 8350 for the same price as the 3570 you have picked out. Either way you go, you're getting a great CPU. It's up to you what you want to spend your money on ultimately.

I recommend a SeaSonic G Series 550W PSU, instead. It will save you $30-40 on the PSU and fit your needs perfectly.

Dosent he already have a PSU or did I read it wrong?

Oh; I feel stupid...

Apparently so, but the build includes one so... who knows

I al ready got the power supply for only $70 not $120 so yah.

some one told me I don't need that graphics card, is there one that will cost less and give me what I need?

What PSU is it?

Rosewill Hive 750W 80 PLUS Bronze

I don't know how much trust I'd put into a Rosewill PSU...

You can run graphics off an APU (which your CPU is not) but you'll only be able to run games at low/medium for the most part. For any serious or graphically intensive gaming (running at high/ultra), you'll want a dedicated GPU.

not like a evga 650 Ti

The 650Ti you have picked out is perfectly suitable; I was just explaining that what you friend said is true about not needing a GPU to play games but he's only right to a certain extent. As far as a GPU that gives you a better price-to-performance ratio, a 7870 or a 7950 might be better. Someone else is going to have to verify/back me up on that/prove me wrong since I'm not an expert or the be-all, end-all of information on GPUs.

I agree with stemor, for gaming, an AMD gpu will almost always give you better price/performance.
