Need some nice headphones

After listening to too much music and watching too much netflix using earbuds, I've decided I absolutely need some good on/over ear headphones. I have about 160$ Canadian to spend (with 15% tax), and I want to get something that dosen't look too bad either, so I can wear them on the bus or something. I'm not in a rush to buy these headphones, and I'm confortable waiting a few months (cash is a little dry) but I'd like to set my sights on something, or buy it if the price is right. The only headphones I've been eyeing have been the Audiotechnica ATH-M50x, but I can't seem to find them in Canada (maybe a trip to the US is in order).

look at these

Honestly I think the AKG's look the coolest and it fits nicely in your price range.

My personal favorites are the vModa LP headphones.

They're a little tight on the head but very comfortable. I could wear them for hours. And they have 50mm drivers giving them a lot of bass if that's what you're into. Plus they look pretty cool and are built like a tank.

I personally have a pair of lp2 headphones but the differences between that and the lp series I've read were negligible.

I'd also stay away from the bose AE2's if you were ever recommended them. They're insanely comfortable and sound decent but would never last as long as the vModas would.

"Sennheizer HD439" around $100, replaceable cord, replaceable ear cups, durable and light head grip. not to mention breathable. Im a glasses user as well (plastic frames are bulky) and these are pretty comfy.

finally, someone else with a set of vmoda cans

The HD 518 are also around $100, and I'm guessing might sound better than the 439, I own the 518s, wear glasses, and they are very comfortable.

I agree with this guy. I have DJ'd with these several times...Great value.
