Hello all, this is my first build. My budget is 700 but i went over by 60 haha but worth it, Take a look and let me know if will all work and will i be able to do some over clocking with the asus motherboard. Thx :)
That thing will have continuous shutdowns when paired with a power hungry CPU like the FX-8350. There is very minimal cooling, and a weak 4+2 power phase design. We have had people come on the forums with a similar setup, only to find out that there was VRM throttling occurring or one of the caps had blown. Get at least the Asus M5A97 R2.0(NON-LE). If you want to overclock, go get the Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 or Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0. These have stronger power deliveries for the CPU and also have much, much better cooling(which the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 does not have). With AM3+, you do not want to skimp at all on your motherboard.
Otherwise, the rest of the build is good. If you want, look into the FX-8320(it's an underclocked FX-8350) You might also want to look into an aftermarket CPU cooler, such as the Hyper 212 because the stock coolers that come with AMD CPUs are really loud and pretty bad at cooling.
CX600 will be just fine for an R9 280. I am running on a quality 550w (XFX Core Edition Pro550w) 80+ Bronze power supply with an HD 7950(R9 280 is a restickered HD 7950) just fine.
If you plan on overclocking I would recommend Gigabyte (GA-970A-UD3) if you're looking for a "budget" board. Pretty much a high end board except it doesn't support SLI or Crossfire.

If you're planning on overclocking I would recommend going for an 8+2 power phase. The M5A99FX PRO R2.0 has 6+2 which is okay for OC'ing but 8+2 is better. More power, more performance.
Are you planning on adding another card later? If so, get a better power supply too. Don't forget to get a 990 chipset if so and make sure it supports crossfire.
Graphics card wise, don't get the MSI one. If you want a 280 then get the Powercolor one. 50 bucks cheaper. Although I would recommend you to get a 280x or maybe even a 290. The 290 is 100$ more expensive. But it is well worth that 100$. It will make you a lot happier when you want to squeeze out a few more frames in a year or two.
DO NOT GET THE 8320! Yes, you may get lucky and get a downclocked 8350. But most people aren't so lucky. They basically get the 8350's that weren't good enough.
Do get a better cooler though. The Hyper 212 is a great budget choice. Cools a lot better than stock and isn't nearly as loud.
Getting an SSD might be out of your price range. But I still recommend it. Waiting 5 minutes for games to load is about as fun as it sounds.
Great build only thing like other have said go for bit cheaper fx8320 and the Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0 mobo. I've had gigabyte mobo they are good but don't have as many features as the Asus mobos. I have my fx8320 oc'ed to 4.1ghz on auto(stock) voltage100% stable and I've had it up to 4.8 and 5.0ghz. There's really no need for a fx8350. Also the evo 212 will be great cooler for that set up as well. Good luck and enjoy!

As I said. Don't buy the 8320. Spend the extra 15 bucks or whatever it is and make sure you get some good silicon. It's not worth the risk. And asus may have more fancy features. But 8+2 phase power design is better than 6+2 if you plan to overclock. So it depends on what you want. Features or performance.
Luck of the draw. I expect that the 8320s will be binned lower than the 8350, so no, once both are overclocked there is probably a higher CHANCE of reaching a better clock speed with the 8350.
