Need some info:Logitech G25 Clamps

Hello,

I need some help with the G25/G27 clamps from Logitech. I am thinking of buying a G25 for Christmas. I intend to mount it to my desk which is 5.3cm (Just over 2 inches) thick. Will the wheel mount to it or will I have to remove the protective cover I have on it? I don't need people saying "Buy this or buy that instead" because I am happy with the price and the features or the G25.

Get the G27. Its an upgrade to it but you loose the sequential shifting for paddle shifters. The mounts will fit your desk. You will have plenty of room for those mounts.
