Hi, I recently just got a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB and I want to move my Windows Installation from my HDD to the SSD. The only problem is that the partition that I made on my HDD for the OS Installation is running short on space and I would like to make the partition bigger. To my understanding, the Samsung Data Migration Software will clone the whole partition and I would not be able to make it bigger and the Windows 10 Reset tool will use the old partitions. Is there any way I can reset my PC and reinstall windows while making new partitions?
If you just want to reinstall windows you can do that pretty easily with their little USB creator.

If you want to keep your existing installation in tact and extend the partition this is also doable… though can be tricky if you’re not as savvy. Gparted live will be the way to go in this case.

I would make a backup of anything you want to keep before attempting anything.
This tutorial is a little old but should still be somewhat accurate.
I don’t really mind reinstalling Windows 10, I have the license key linked to my account, so I shouldn’t have any problems activating it afterwards. I’ll probably just use the first method. Thanks a lot
