Hi I'm planning on getting a single gtx 970 or gtx 980 with two monitor one will be for gaming to other will be use for web browsing. The one for gaming 4k G-sync, 1440p G-sync, or 1080p G-sync or not a G-sync monitor? i know that the web browsing one doesn't have to be the fastest are G-sync.
Ok just know that for anything G-Sync it is really expensive right now. And there some UI scaling in both games and windows still have problems.
For 4K G-sync you really only have one choice. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009658
For 1440 I would go with the Asus ROG Swift. http://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/ROG_SWIFT_PG278Q/
And for 1080 G-sync I would go for this Ben-q:http://www.benq.us/product/monitor/XL2420G
Out of the monitors here. What I hear is the ROG Swift seems to be the sweet spot. As far as color reproduction. The 4K panels seem to be so and so. New tech always has a rocky start. And I have seen the Ben-Q so I can say its a good monitor. Non of these are going to give you the color accuracy of say an IPS display.
So for you web browsing display I like this one a lot: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236424&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
Has can rotate in to portrait for web browsing. Also is IPS and has really good color accuracy for photo or video viewing.
For GPU. I would say the 970 is more than enough for 1080 and a good starter for 1440. You can do some 4K with the 970 but at low frame rates. The 980 would be that card to use for 4K or 1440 for a high refresh monitor like the swift.
Sorry I don't have any Korean monitor picks for you. I don't really keep up with that stuff like Logan and Wendell do.
