Need some help here

So, I installed Ubuntu, but changed my mind about which flavor of linux I wanted to use, and reformated the hdd I had it installed on. Now, when I turn on the machine,I still get an option to boot into Ubuntu, even though I no longer have it installed. Any ideas on how to fix this?

did you use a usb stick or disk to install ubuntu?

if you still have installed windows try using EasyBCD (software for manipulating boot configuration) or in linux edit the grub configuration located in /etc/default/grub then update with update-grub.

^that, the boot managers are generally stupid, you have to tell them what to do and think

Thanks, EasyBCD did the job.
