im building a pc but im stuck.. i need to find a sub 200 euro processor and can keep up with the gtx 970, also would an amd processor (fx 8350 - fx 9590) be good for this build i will be doing 1080p gaming, video editing and rendering.
heres the build so far:
case: fractal design define r4
psu: evga 500w 80 plus
hard drive: 2tb western digital blue
ram: crucial 12gb ddr3 1600mhz
gpu: evga gtx 970 4gb gddr5 acx cooling
thanks for your help :)
this goes over your budget a little but not by too much LINK
The motherboard has an 8 +2 power phase which should be a minimum requirement.
I think that under 200 euros the best processor you will find will be the FX-8350 from AMD. It's a capable processor but it might be worth it to drop 20 or 50 more to get an i5 4690k from Intel. That being said, it's all up to you.
The 8350 will be fine for gaming and very capable for rendering and editing- possibly even better at that than the 4690k..
+1 this is a good way to go
For gaming, an i5 wins hands down, even if you don't get an unlocked one.
However, since you're editing, the 8350 will be a better all around solution.
So uh...
I guess I didn't really contribute anything no one else has said.
if you use adobe premiere for editing, then grab an i5. Adobe premiere renders way faster on intel haswell cpu´s.
xeon - 1230v3 + motherboard (will go over 200 euro)
or something like 8320E + ud3 http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/deejeta/saved/JHf2FT, then spend the rest of the money on upping the psu to another brand - one that uses a good oem.
Bang for buck 8 core fx's are pretty hard to beat at the moment. The 9590 though is a waste of money, its a cherry picked 8350 with an inflated price tag.
+1 this post. The Xeon is pretty much and i7 ($330+) without the iGPU. Really good deal and solid.
