Need Opinions On Part List

I want to keep this build as close to 1200 as possible, I won't be expanding either, most likely, but i would like to be able to if the need/want/ability arises. I'm going to be a poor college student next year and I would like this build to last me for at least the next 4 years, any suggestions for parts that are cheaper but won't sacrifice much performance will be greatly appreciated. This build will be used for schoolwork and gaming. And it will also be a first build.

Heres the link to the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/mattman2013/saved/1mZr

If you get the ASRock 970 EXTREME4 from newegg you get Corsair Vengeance 8 gb DDR3 1600 free so you could put the extra 62.68 into a XFX FX-795A-TDFC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150588&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Oh and you get Crysis 3 and BioShock Infinite with the card as well

Great build, but it's not what you want.

That build is really well balanced but it's not going to last you 4 years, I whipped this up

There's a combo deal on that mobo, so it comes out at the same as that extreme 4.

The ram is some cheap CL9 kingston ram, nothing special it's good.

I dropped the SSD, as much as it sucks doing so the extra $120 was better spent on other components, and SSDs will see a drop in price within the next 4 years, so it's well worth it to wait.

That 7950 is not voltage locked and has a great cooler, overclocks like a beast, same as that mobo (should be able to take that 8350 pretty far).

The TPC 812 is on sale for $40! STEAL.

I know people hate windows 8, but if you're building brand new it has some tangible performance benifits over windows 7. (honestly i'd just "acquire" a copy)

Got you some entry level peripherals from cooler master, tested them personally and they're pretty much the shit. (buy a steelseries mouse pad).

Swapped the case, but if you had your heart set on a z11, then use the z11. Doesn't really matter.

Pretty much the most bang i could muster. If you could drop the OS, then a 7970/SSD become tangible once more.
