I have the G502 and it's really good! Built for smaller hands though, and it also has a really nice thumb seat haha. It feels sticky when you first use it (which annoyed me) but it doesn't seem to be sticky anymore and it's only been a few months.
I have the logitech G600, and have had it for a couple months now. Really enjoying it. Having a tilting scroll wheel is a dream for flicking through tabs. The macros n the side are nice for games, too.
Anyway. Ive had Logitech mice for years and years, and by that I mean I've had two logitech mice in 10 years. A G5 that only last year started having a little problem with the scroll wheel, i had been thinking of getting something new anyway and got the Performance MX because its super comfy.
I actually fixed the G5 by taking it apart giving it a quick clean and putting it back together, so actually it still works, 10 years on.
The Cooler Master Reaper isn't sturdy. I've never heard someone say "my cooler master mouse lasted forever". The volume of that mouse is only 24.6 which is average if anything, not large. See this
The Gigabyte isn't sturdy. Same reasoning.
The G700 is wireless and isn't suited for gaming although the shape is nice.
The Razer Taipan has acceleration as it uses a laser. It has buttons on both sides which can get in the way and high button latency.
I don't know much about Mionix and Roccat but they don't have R&D like Logitech.
Razer has so many things going for them. Quality hasn't been one of them :( I like the look and feel of many of their mice but they don't last.
The Logitech G303/G402/G502 are your best bet depending on hand size (G303 for small) and appetite for $. Full sheet here
If you want to stay Razer, the DeathAdder Chroma is next best option. Won't last as long as a Logitech mouse though.
I'm using Razer Taipan. 8000dpi sturdy and basic. I replaced a Logitech G500 earlier this year. I prefer the location of the sensitivity switch and the 3rd thumb button on the g500 for alt key bindings, but other than that I've been happy.
Nice failed nerd rage induced research, it's not even on that list, and yes it is fucking is big. The total mass doesn't matter, it's the total foot print it has. By your logic you should be putting your hand inside your mouse..
Also wireless is fine for gaming, the 1000hz polling rate thing is un noticable by humans
I'm a big fan of the Corsair M65 & M95 aluminium frame. It's sturdy and I love it. My only gripe is that the middle mouse switch isn't omron and my first M65 middle mouse button died.
You are better off with Mionix Naos 7000, 8200 is laser and has acceleration. Both G502 and 402 are optical and very well built too. However, I would recommend Zowie EC1A as it is similarly shaped as Deathadder.
