I have a budget of 930€ wich was actually just for the Pc, but I needed to drop that idea when I realised I had to get a monitor after all.
So now I have about 950 € to spend on a Pc and a monitor. I would like to get some advice on components from you.
Pc: It is going to be a gaming rig in first place, but it must not be just for gaming because I want to do a bit of editing and photo work on it. I would like to have it quiet.
I´m pretty set on the case ( Phanteks Enthoo Pro, black w/ window) and I don´t think there will be more CPU in it than the FX 8350, but if there are better options for both will gladly take them. So I would , of course, like to get a GTX 970.
That are some of the parts that came to mind. I have already some ideas but I would like to see some ideas of yours.
Monitor: That I think is the tricky part. I don´t want a cheap monitor because I would like to try something new ( I´ve been using an old 5:4 monitor with terrible colour).
I would love to try 1440p or a 21:9 monitor, but if necessary I would take a 1080p TN or IPS panel.
I hope it isn´t too tricky and I look forward to your suggestions.
Thank you very much for the fast response. I like the idea of the i5 but I also would love to try some overclocking so I have to look if I can get a "K" part in it :D . Well i´ll think about it.
Based on the prices I've seen combined with personal experience, I tend to recommend to anyone on a budget - the Dell 2340M 23" IPS panel. Looks amazing and is usually around $150 US - But the Acer equivalent model is also exceptional - and I found one at 24" cheaper than the 23" versions I have used before. My thanks. It looks good but I need a bit more CPU power. So I've thought it through and I think I don't really need the 970 for 1080p. I think the AMD r9 280x will do just fine at first.
