Need help!

I am having some problems with my brothers tv, when i am at his place the tv or my graphic card go to shit, the colors change like someone is playing with the hue. But when i am home on my tv every thing works like a charm.

Cooler Master V8 GTS

XFX Radeon HD 7790 @ 1100 Ghz

1 1,5 TB harddrive

1 1 TB harddrive

GIgabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4

Thermaltake MS-1 Epic Edition

Grundig 46" 3d TV

, I have found a temporary fix , if i change the reselution the color goes back to normal, and after some time it happens again

What kind of tv is it and what connection type are you using?

Well there is nothing wrong with your PC problem is the TV and or cable you're using.

Tried anything else on that TV's input you've been plugging into?

i use a hdmi cable, i use the same cable at home and i don't have any problems with my tv

i use hdmi and the tv is a philips 46" full hd tv can't remember what the model name is

..and other hdmi devices plugging into your bro's tv? How is their screen output?

you are under a curse, if you could see ghost you would see one riding on your back, everytime you are at your brother's house the ghost is causing interference with that tv.

Sounds more like a connector port issue.Tried using different HDMI ports? Try other connections as well,eg VGA,DVI...

thats the ting this just started to happen after i buildt my new pc, the last card i had was i nvidia gt430

i agree GHOST's

i can try different hdmi port on friday

have tryed a different hdmi output and still the same

Might be a long shot but it might be changing the color schemes when detecting the input. I know my TV dose this when ever i play games but switches the color scheme and automatically changes when getting back to desktop.

How to change it not to do this?

It's hard to say, all TV settings are different to each other. If it's a Sony I might be able to help you out though.

its a philips something.. i have no idea what its called

Well its a start lol

First thing you can try to see if it really is the TV doing it, change the color scheme your self and see if you can get it back to normal. If you are able to do so then try to keep it at that setting. I know with my Sony, it just remembers what Scheme it was on last time i played that game. for example i use just a standard YCbCr444 color preset for my desktop, And RGB custom settings with motion flow for BF3. Soon as it detects the game it goes to that scheme automatically

Also the last Phillips TV i touched was a old CRT system. Phillips pulled out of a Australia a long time ago which is a really big shame because they do make some of the best screens. they had this 21:9 LCD system i loved and could never get it here.
