Hey guys.
I've got Asus K75VJ with Win 8.1 ( http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/K75VJ/) and TP LINK TL-WR841N v8 router.
After few hours of using Internet it says "limited access". It annoys me, cause i have to restart my router. I'm contected to router by cable. But once it says limited access no matter how i'm connected i have to restart router to be able to connect to internet again.
I've got the newest lan drivers, and the newest router firmware. Upgrading didnt help. I've also unchecked "allow the computer to turn off this device ... " . Didnt help.
And it gets worser and worser. Now i have limited access almost every 5 minutes.
Please I'll appreciate any kind of help.

You may have to go into ur router and configure some settings.

Looks like you can put DDWRT on that to, there is a reference link, if you dont know how to do it make sure to read up before you do it so you dont kill your router, stock firmware is such a drag.
i bought new one. Asus RT-N12 v.D1. I couldn't belive, after few hour again limited access even with cable. I try put DDWRT on the old one and see what happens.
keep us posted after you get ddwrt running on the unit and we can troubleshoot from there
limited access or limited connectivity ?
Definitely sounds like power management messing around, there two places you need to check to disable power saving, one is in windows power management profiles and the other through device manager by going to properties on the network adapter and looking at its power management tab.
limited access. in windows power management I only found wireless adapter setting. Those are set to maximum performance. And in the network adapter properties i have unchecked "allow the computer to turn off this device to safe power". There's no other option. When i'm connected through WIFI sometimes I just have to reconnect. Other laptops and phones works ok. But when laptop connected by cable get limited access, all other devices get limited access too and i have to restart router.
I didn't have time to try DDWRT because of school. But I try it this weekend.
