Use:

-Gaming

-NO Overclocking

Parts:

-530W PSU

-CPU:intel i3-4130

-RAM:Adata XPGv2 4*2GB

-SSD:Adata Sx900  64 GB

-HDD: Seagate 7200.14 2TB

i have the choice between these:

-B85 G43 Gaming

-H87 G43 Gaming

-Z87 G43 Gaming

Considering i have a locked cpu and i don't have to use RAID and 4 sata III ports are enough for me do you recommend the B85 ?

i need quick answer ,thanks

B85 chipset will be just fine.

honestly i would go fx6300 as for gaming it's quite a bit faster than the i3. and AMD motherboards are usually more equipped for the money. but the only AMD motherboards you should buy for the am3+ socket are full ATX boards. The micro ATX boards are whack. But if you want to save power and keep it cooler th i3 is definantly the way to go. if you could scrape up $80 more an get i5 that would be your best option.

and defiantly get the GTX 660.

Give us a budget and a list of must-haves so we can put together alternative builds.

Here's the initial budget build that you were waffling over: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3RQva

Now here's a different build that costs within $100, but is better in every conceivable way: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3RQFO

Price to performance, not much is able to beat the current price of the AMD FX 8320. It's a very reasonable price for eight threads of processing power. I would still recommend overclocking. It should be capable of 4GHz on that cooler. The RAM is the same. The motherboard is certainly sufficiently powered for overclocking, and should provide a certain degree of reliability. I opted to switch the SSD for a slightly more expensive one, that also happens to be twice the capacity. I kept the HDD the same, but the PSU I swapped for one with a somewhat higher capacity. That is because I opted to include a GPU with a higher maximum power draw: the Radeon R9 270 from MSI. This card outpaces the GTX 750 Ti at stock clocks and is capable of matching or exceeding the clock rates of a reference Radeon R9 270X.

Rule of thumb: if you are really averse to overclocking, drop the requirements of the motherboard down and raise the amount that you're spending on your CPU, since you want it to be as fast as you can possibly get it out of the box.

thanks ,but i've already finished the build , i took the the N660 like you recommended and xpg 128 GB SSD i also took corsair vengeance memory instead of adata, and the msi Z87-G43 mobo and window 8.1, now i have some question :

- i downloaded the drivers from msi website and some didn't work ( intel rst and intel vga ) is it normal ?

- i accidentally deleted the MSR partition , do i need it?

-i screwed things up and know i have to do a clean install how to securely erase an SSD ( using Gparted maybe) ?

thanks
