The Gaming K5 uefi offers no direct vcore settings. Insted they use dvid vcore wich when you tamper with it starts at a minus offset and dvid vcore soc with starts with a positive voltage offset and counts down.
There is no direct voltage readout for the offset in the uefi.
The manual has no information on those settings.
Then i looked into the easy OC utility from Gigabyte where dvid vcore is locked. So this is not an option.
I find with very confusing for how easy it should be. I had to watch 10 youtube videos to make shure i would not blow up my cpu and i still just carefully added +0.1v to dvid vcore. Some of them had close to +0.2v for a 3.95ghz oc and some bumped up the soc voltage also.
I run 3.9ghz all cores with the flarex ram xmp enabled. On first glance the mission got accomplished.
I ran all prime95 tests for a while, no crashes yet.
For the moment i think i did ok, but maybe someone can tell me how to do better.
