Need Help With Power Supply (Build Recommendations Also)

I am new to building pc's but I am trying to go for a nice gaming pc for around $800, $850 maximum.

1. Is this a decent build?

  • Intel Core i5-3570K (bought)
  • ASUS P8Z77-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z77 (bought)
  • Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz (bought)
  • Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive
  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
  • ???Power Supply??? (Rosewill Capstone 450M)

      Extras:

  • Cooler Master Elite 430
  • Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm Blue LED Computer Case Fan
  • Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive

2. How much power do I need to run all this?

I was looking at a 600-650 watt power supply. Would that be enough? Too much? or Not enough?

Please help thank you!

Another note I am buying all these supplies on Amazon for around $850. If you know a site that has better prices on parts please let me know!

Too much. You won't need more than 270W or so at full load. I'd get a Rosewill Capstone 450M. Low ripple, high efficiency, and great price.

You could spend a little extra and get the FX-8350 instead of the 8320. The 7950 is a much better card than the 7850. The Cooler Master Haf 912 has way more cable management options than the Elite 430. You can overclock the FX-8320 to 8350 performance levels and beyond. The PSU is a XFX 750w for $55. The price is assuming your in the USA. Also this is if you haven't bought some of the parts yet.

I have already purchased the i5 3570k and the ASUS P877-V LX motherboard as well as the ram but I still havent ordered a case, heat sink, gpu, memory, and the optical drive. Any other suggestions?
