Need Help with New PC Build

Hey, I'm building a new PC and I have a $2500 budget. I need a monitor, but I have a keyboard and mouse. This PC will be only for gaming and I would like a 1440p monitor if possible. Also I would like windows 8 because I heard that the new windows 8.1 is pretty good. As a final note I prefer intel and nvidia products but I would like to know what you guys think a good build would be for this budget. Thanks

I live in the US

I would like to get am much fps as possible

I don't really plan on overclocking

I play all types of games.

With that kind of a budget, you don't really have to make any compromises.

i7-4770k w/a Hyper 212 Evo cooler, which would still do fine if you decide to overclock a bit

Asus Z87 Motherboard

Gigabyte 780ti

HyperX 3K 240GB SSD

2TB Seagate HDD

16GB 1866MHz RAM

Corsair 300R - easily substituted with a different case of your choice

Corsair HX750 80+ Gold Power Supply

Windows 8.1

Asus 27" IPS 1440p Monitor

That build is similar to the one that I was making but not the Gigabyte 780 ti, I have not heard great things about that card and I would like to know why you picked it. I think that the EVGA 780 ti, the MSI one, and most of the others are better.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2WfXi 4770 with a great cooler to keep it quiet paired with a very fast very quiet EVGA Gtx 780 ti. All inside a Fractal Design R4.
