so i got this old laptop but it works great but when i try to play games it sucks. i went to the device manager and it shows me this: http://gyazo.com/f18ef9e35144aba2505371e221fa95bb if anyone can help me that will be awesome
P.S. i did the normal thing where you delete the drivers and reinstall the newest one it worked but after like 10 mins. it will say the same thing it did in the picture above
If you want a more automated process after updating the BIOS, download the HP Support Assistant but the laptop should have it already installed unless it was removed.
From the Start screen, type msinfo32 . Click msinfo32 from the list of results. In the System Information window under the System Summary category, look for the BIOS Version/Date entry.
I bet it's not the BIOS or UEFI. Go here http://support.amd.com/en-us/download and get the latest AMD graphics driver. It looks like you're using the Windows generic drivers.
did you download it onto your notebook. Don't click the "run" option. Then run the download file as an admin.
If all else fails, I suggest back up all your important data and prepare a factory reset.
To do a factory reset (after backing up)
Start tapping F11 key as soon as you power on the laptop, create a recovery disk set first.
Then after the process, reboot and tap F11 and select the option to factory reset. If the laptop is stable after the installation, update everything using the HP Assistant or manually downloading and updating via the HP support and drivers website.
If that fails, send it to a repair shop or get a new laptop. It is better for a person to physically see the problem.
yeah im thinking of getting a good cheap desktop but i dont know any good ones that are cheap plus i need like a monitor and keyboard and all that stuff ill look around
