P.S. i did the normal thing where you delete the drivers and reinstall the newest one it worked but after like 10 mins. it will say the same thing it did in the picture above

EDIT:i downloaded an update for it and it says this: http://gyazo.com/37d7646659ded672f40dfe8b80ce7a12

I see you have the Intel HD Graphics 3000 active. Try to disable that, somethings it messes with other graphiccards

i did that and when i try to play games it say like i have no GPU here minecraft says this: http://gyazo.com/b9ab38746e41cf0cb649c25562928984 and http://gyazo.com/f0664ee919916b2a9037e4d5a16dfe29 i updated everything i can even my CPU(i dont know why) but it still says that

what is your laptop model?

it's HP - Pavilion g6-1c57dx

okay but i dont know what my current BIOS is

Try this page : http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=5193775&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

download everything there to update the notebook

========

Do the BIOS update first then the HP Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Support Environment

You want to download the latest BIOS

If you want a more automated process after updating the BIOS, download the HP Support Assistant but the laptop should have it already installed unless it was removed.

okay i updated everything but the BIOS thing is not working it this http://gyazo.com/447ef09fe55358d3f2c0d2358650abb0 i dont know any of it

:3 can't really tell much if you just screenshot that much.

Do you have important stuff on that notebook, if so can you back it up elsewhere?

Does the laptop come with Windows 8 pre-installed or did you upgraded?

sorry :/ http://gyazo.com/a37168aa4e972c1b575dccee4c1b0d36

EDIT: it shows me this error http://gyazo.com/2c3829c5d3252009fc7fbb12715b178c

From the Start screen, type msinfo32 . Click msinfo32 from the list of results. In the System Information window under the System Summary category, look for the BIOS Version/Date entry.

Screenshot that for me please.

here you go http://gyazo.com/53a1851ddb88f09e3a05c84885aab3bb

Don't worry I got time to kill since its the holidays. :3

well http://gyazo.com/4f903c4393deceea8e91fa7251dd1820 it's the same thing :/

I bet it's not the BIOS or UEFI. Go here http://support.amd.com/en-us/download and get the latest AMD graphics driver. It looks like you're using the Windows generic drivers.

nope i did that the amd gpu wont work at all it says this http://gyazo.com/fa85f6c887ddf2365b6137fe908e81c7

did you download it onto your notebook. Don't click the "run" option. Then run the download file as an admin.

If all else fails, I suggest back up all your important data and prepare a factory reset.

To do a factory reset (after backing up)

Start tapping F11 key as soon as you power on the laptop, create a recovery disk set first.

Then after the process, reboot and tap F11 and select the option to factory reset. If the laptop is stable after the installation, update everything using the HP Assistant or manually downloading and updating via the HP support and drivers website.

If that fails, send it to a repair shop or get a new laptop. It is better for a person to physically see the problem.

yeah im thinking of getting a good cheap desktop but i dont know any good ones that are cheap plus i need like a monitor and keyboard and all that stuff ill look around
