I attempted an install of this ROM to my S-ON HTC One M8. I know, not exactly a smart thing to do, but that's besides the point. It was working all fine, except for WiFi. I was going to go into my recovery and reflash to a 4.4.4 ROM, but I can't do this. When I reboot to HBOOT, it loads as usual, but then says "Press <POWER> to reboot." If I boot normally, the loading screen freezes about halfway through and reboots (hence bootlooping.) I can't do anything else, just that. I really need the help of the wonderful people here, and would appreciate it if there were a fix. Thanks.
I believe you should create a thread on xda as well, as the people there can also help you a lot.
so the fastboot option is missing in hboot? maybe your volume buttons are stuck or something
did you happen to turn usb debugging on before the boot loop happened?
having S-On should be fine, I haven't managed to get S-Off on my M8 either but as long as you can get root access it should work. which recovery are you using? I find TWRP is pretty user friendly and on my S4 it was able to flash a version of opengapps that the stock CM12.1 wouldn't. (no idea why though)
could you post more info on the HBOOT version and stuff? like a pic.
holy necro from the ice ages
