Need help with CPU

So I just ordered my new graphics card, my first build was actually from the video $400 APU gamming rig. Except back then i didn't know much about computers and ordered a different motherboard since the reccomended one was discontinued, so it didnt support onboard graphics. I'm starting a new build now, and i ordered an msi gtx 970 and a corsair cx600 power supply. 2 days after i put them in my cpu died (I think). Thats why I'm here to make sure. The cpu fan isn't running, everything else is running fine though. Obviously the computer won't turn on. Was it because the power supply wasn't enough maybe? Because i dont want to get a new cpu and break that one too.

Specs:

Case: NZXT source 530

Cpu: AMD A10-5800K Trinity Quad-Core 3.8GHz

Motherboard: Asrock FM2A85X-ITX

GPU: MSI GTX 970

Powersupply: Corsair CX600 80 PLUS bronze

Look if there is something blocking the CPU fan. If not, just connect another fan on the header instead, it might just be the cooling. If the CPU fan doesn't spin, the computer won't turn on.

Thanks! Something happened when i plugged the case fan into the header and now its powering the cpu fan again!

I'm glad it helped :)
